Alarm went off early for our proposed trip on the lake but it was a bit hazy outside so we decided to head back to bed. Might try again tomorrow.
Beans on toast for breakfast today then it was a taxi ride to the Gurkha museum which was really interesting. We decided to get the taff taff out and walk back which proved to be yet another epic journey – we walked for over an hour without seeing another western face which was a little unnerving at times before we found ourselves hot and dusty back at Lakeside.
Spent the afternoon eating and drinking at Boomerang avoiding the rain and watching the snake charmer do his thing by the lake.
Now tucked up watching west brom vs chelsea on tv whilst keeping an eye on Murray and Luton on the internet.
Might head to a posh hotel for the day tomorrow to make use of their pool.
