Took part in my first Associated Trades golf society day since my dodgy hamper win before Christmas. The venue was Old Thorns in Hampshire, a spectacular but unforgiving course and as my handicap had been viciously slashed from 21 to 16 it was going to be an uphill battle.
As we were playing 36 holes and the course is fairly hilly, we invested in buggies and each one possessed a screen with an integrated GPS which informed you of the upcoming hole and the distance to the pin as you got nearer the hole – golfing and geekness rolled into one, marvellous.
Raking the bunker – again!

Am away for the weekend in deepest, darkest Wales and I packed my mac (not the waterproof type) so I could transfer pictures from the camera if necessary. Imagine my surprise then, to discover that this little B&B has an open wireless network! Wales is great…

Clever stuff, but would I want to switch from my tried and tested palm? Probably not at $500 (not yet anyway..) Check out the scrolling, changing the orientation and zooming in on the picture.
